Their story begins in two far-distant places, around the same time. When Tennessee-born Gospel composer/choir director Eric Dozier was studying to be a Baptist preacher, Canadian guitar-ist JB Eckl was in the snow-bound Sas-katchewan prairie, steeping himself in the lore of early rock & roll and sitting in with itinerant Chicago bluesmen on their circuit to the West Coast.
